About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and hands-on Growth Lead to take ownership of our user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategy.. This role is perfect for a visionary and proactive growth expert who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and understands how to scale network effects. You will work directly with the Head of Experience and leadership team to define, test, and optimize go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and viral growth strategies to drive our first million users.

Key Responsibilities:
Product-Led Growth Strategy
- Experience with product-led growth, using in-app experiences, onboarding flows, and viral loops to drive organic growth.
- Working closely with Product and Engineering teams to optimize features for user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Drive community-led growth, leveraging our community partnerships to convert their members into Buenro users.
- Identify and execute on growth levers (referrals, network effects, partnerships).
- Cultivate exclusivity with invite-only based mechanisms to drive virality.
- Own early adopter activation, ensuring high engagement from our first user base.
- Develop and implement GTM strategies that generate buzz and FOMO for new products, features, and market expansion.
- Define and optimize positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
- Work cross-functionally with leadership, sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Design, test, and iterate on customer acquisition strategies to drive conversions.
- Identify new market opportunities and growth levers.
- Work with business/community partners to onboard large groups of new users.
- Develop playbooks for community engagement & ambassador programs.
- Design incentives for users to organically invite their networks.
- Develop lifecycle marketing campaigns to improve user engagement and reduce churn.
- Implement data-driven strategies to optimize in-app experiences, onboarding flows, and social mechanics to drive retention.
- Utilize personalization, automation, and CRM tools to nurture and re-engage users.
- Develop and track key growth KPIs (CAC, LTV, retention, virality factor).
- Conduct data-driven experiments and A/B testing to optimize funnels, improve conversion rates, and identify scalable strategies.
- Leverage analytics tools to measure performance and refine strategies.
- 5+ years of experience driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention in consumer/B2B2C startup growth (ideally social networks, marketplaces, or fintech).
- Strong understanding of growth frameworks, marketing automation, customer journeys and data-driven optimization.
- Deep understanding of community-driven growth, viral loops, and referral mechanics.
- Experience in app growth strategies, user retention, and performance marketing.
- Experience launching and scaling network-effect products..
- Ability to work cross-functionally with leadership to drive company-wide growth initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with growth frameworks, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with a test-and-learn approach.
- Proven track record of launching viral consumer products and driving 0-to-1 growth.
- Bonus: Experience in building products with social mechanics, FOMO-based onboarding, and marketplace liquidity optimization.
