About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Encryption Engineer for a leading fintech firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting encryption services across various entities, aligning with cybersecurity standards and business requirements. The role includes maintaining encryption platforms, managing integrations, and supporting encryption-related projects to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement new features and scenarios for encryption services, adhering to cybersecurity guidelines and project requirements.
- Execute encryption BAU using Thales CipherTrust Security Manager (CTM) and Luna HSM Technology.
- Onboard new encryption applications based on service requirements.
- Ensure platform performance, resilience, quality, and compliance with SLAs.
- Conduct regular monitoring and issue remediation for encryption platforms.
- Manage integration requests with essential security tools, including:
- Privileged Account Management (PAM)
- SIEM systems
- Patching solutions
- Virtual host consoles
- Support encryption programs, including use case migrations and technical troubleshooting sessions.
- Identify and mitigate risks or issues that could impact service goals.
- Collaborate in defining and deploying new encryption use cases and features.
- Operate daily using standard tools such as:
- Change Management systems
- Incident and request management tools
- CMDB and CTM reporting tools
- Ensure all activities comply with security best practices and contribute to improving platform security, especially during security assessments like penetration testing.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in cryptographic techniques.
- Proficiency in:
- Thales CipherTrust Security Manager (CTM) & Luna HSM
- Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP)
- CyberARK PAM and authentication methods (SSH, GUI, SSL/RSA, Private/Public Keys)
- Strong stakeholder management skills for effective communication with application owners.
- Ability to lead brainstorming and technical sessions to resolve complex issues.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Solid understanding of IT security principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) is a plus.
- Relevant technical or security certifications are advantageous.
Language Requirements:
- English: Fluent (mandatory)
