About the Role:

We have partnered with a market-leading technology company that is powering the energy transition with its best-in-class AI-driven platform and scalable IoT technology. Their patents and solutions enable more reliable, data-driven decisions for various market participants in the energy industry. Having onboarded more market participants and clients, they are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team.



Responsibilities:

  • You lead and architect the operation of our managed software platform across Azure and customer environments (various cloud providers), establishing operational standards and best practices
  • Own and evolve our Infrastructure as Code strategy, including the modernization of our Terraform and Helm codebases, implementing advanced deployment patterns and security controls
  • Spearhead automation initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving the implementation of new technologies and methodologies
  • You design and implement Azure reference architectures, focusing on scalability, resilience, and security while optimizing operational costs
  • You collaborate with development teams as a technical advisor, providing infrastructure design guidance and mentoring on cloud-native best practices



Your Profile:

  • You have a degree in computer science or comparable; alternatively a equivalent practical experience
  • You bring enough hands-on experience (4-6 years) in DevOps Engineering, and Cloud Architecture, to work autonomously on our software platform and tailored client solutions.
  • You possess deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
  • You have extensive experience architecting and managing complex cloud infrastructure, with experience in Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
  • You are confident in mentoring junior engineers and driving technical decisions in cross-functional teams
  • Strong architectural thinking and can balance technical debt, business requirements, and innovation
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing efficient, scalable solutions
  • You actively stay current with cloud-native technologies and security best practices, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure
