Change Implementation Project Manager
Location: Hybrid with at least 3 days in the office.
Status: fixed term contract of 12 months
Our client has completed a full review of its systems and is now looking to upgrade it main ERP system and the other systems that integrate to it. They have an IT dept and a Change transformation dept within the company. This role sits in the Change team - and there function is delivering strategic and operational performance improvement.
They look to streamline the operations – automate things integration things – look to make things work better / smoother. The functions includes PMO, process, data, change, commercial, embrace new initiatives – Ensuring the new change transformation projects are adapted by the business and we are getting commercial value for money!
This role is in the change team to deliver key strategic business transformation initiatives.
We are looking for a person who can deliver the projects – deal with internal / external IT teams and ensure successful delivery of Systems / Applications / ERP projects.
A senior Project Manager / Implementation Manager who can roll up their sleeves (Get things done and who can “take the bull by its horns”).. Hands-On with Drive, energy & enthusiasm.
A candidate with strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, provide regular updates to project sponsors / exec team – ensuring projects are on time, in budget etc..
As stated a focus on Implementation and delivery – including system automation and system and infrastructure upgrades.
Projects will include systems in different areas of the business including operations, distribution, logistics, finance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in
- working with the business, gathering business requirements, document and scope the deliverables and agree milestones etc.
- Drive, take ownership and manage the delivery
- Provide regular, concise and clear updates on key milestones to project sponsors and executives / SMT.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management ensuring good communications on project status.
Implementation Project Manager - Distribution / Wholesale / Retail
Systems, Applications and Infrastructure
The focus for this PM is to implement and deliver projects within the distribution/wholesale / Supply change sector with a strong knowledge of ERP systems, integration and infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on can-do attitude with a strong project planning, project implementation background combined with a good understanding of the retail-wholesale IT landscape including Applications, ERP Systems / Infrastructure projects within that sector.
You will have excellent stakeholder management and communications skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong PM experience managing end-to-end change with a track record on delivery and execution including Weekly Dashboards, RAID tracking, GANTT charts, MS copilot and regular executive presentations/updates
- Over 5+ years' of project management / implementing ERP systems, Applications, POS, Infrastructure within Retail / Wholesale sectors.
- Strong attention to detail on status of each project.
- Excellent communication skills – listening, presentation and written
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills – including providing regular updates to exec team on projects.
