Senior PHP Developer

We are a professional service provider that offers a unique and versatile administration system for energy suppliers. Our company is a growing, friendly team, operating in the exciting energy industry. We are seeking a PHP Developer responsible for designing and implementing solutions, with the goal of assisting our clients reduce their administrative processes.

The new Developer will join a small and motivated team based in the Hague, to fulfill the increasing demand for these services and extend on the current portfolio. Remote working is possible (Wednesdays in office mandatory).

Are you the person we are looking for? 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage portions of and become involved with large projects, primarily focusing on development but also focusing on the design, testing and interacting with clients.
• Helping develop new products and set-up new business.

What we are looking for:

• HBO/Bachelor education in IT related subject.
• 5 years + relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of object-orientated programming languages.
• Active (provable) knowledge of: PhP (7.x/8.x), the Laravel framework (8+) and JavaScript (ES5/ES6).
• Full stack developer. So everything from frontend (gui) to backend services/databases/API.
• Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Extra: basic or advanced knowledge of Linux servers setup/maintenance is a plus.
• Extra: Python (and Odoo) knowledge, so you can help the other development team when needed.
• Fluent Dutch & English required with good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably Dutch person. So you have lived in The Netherlands or are still living here.
• Eagerness to learn and real passion for IT.
• The ability to work as a team player as well as being able to work independently.
