Network Engineer – Enterprise Networking (Milan, Italy)

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Network Engineer to advance their career as a key member of a dynamic and fast-paced sales team. You will be responsible for pre-sales and partner enablement within the Milan region, in alignment with the company’s corporate objectives. This includes supporting VARs, System Integrators, and commercial end users.

This is a customer-facing technical account management role that requires a broad range of skills and experience.

Their Enterprise Networking business unit is primarily a channel-focused organization, working with a wide network of resellers and partners across Milan and surrounding areas. Our partners range from long-standing collaborators to new strategic accounts that require technical onboarding and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner acquisition and enablement through onsite support, training, and education
• Pre-sales support from both a technical and commercial standpoint
• Technical project management and consulting for enterprise networking projects
• Developing technical solutions and concepts for VAR partners and commercial end users
• Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and partner events
• Managing and supporting customer product evaluations and demonstrations
• Assisting the marketing team in product and solution positioning
• Maintaining regular communication with Product Line Managers to discuss market trends, customer requirements, and feature requests

Experience / Skills / Competencies:

• 5+ years of experience in the networking industry, with a degree (or equivalent experience) in a scientific or engineering field
• Expertise in Enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networking
• Excellent team player with interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across the organization
• Background in sales systems engineering, ideally from a network hardware vendor, distributor, integrator, or telecom service provider
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or CWDP/CWNA are a plus
