About the job

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer JAVA Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming, solid experience with Azure DevOps, and a deep understanding of Unix environments. This role involves developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient use of relational databases, and collaborating within a dynamic development environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support the continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Support build/validation/deployment/release processes to ensure smooth transitions and integration of software versions.
• Leverage Azure DevOps for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
• Perform basic system administration of Unix systems, ensuring stable environments for development and production.
• Develop and optimize Relational Database solutions, including writing SQL queries and creating stored procedures.
• Generate reports of pipeline execution results, identifying potential improvements and bottlenecks.
• Support root cause analysis of various issues that may occur during the development cycle or in the production environment, providing solutions to enhance overall system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure the security and scalability of applications by adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Required experience and qualifications

Education :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Software Engineer skills :

• Solid knowledge of Azure DevOps, including managing builds, deployments, and version control.
• Excellent Unix usage experience with a strong understanding of shell scripting and system administration.
• Proficiency in the Java programming language and its runtime environment (JVM).
• Strong understanding of Relational Databases (SQL), with experience writing stored procedures and optimizing queries.

• Languages: Proficiency in English (both oral and written).
