We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to help setup and deliver robust, scalable and innovate engineering and ML/ AI/ OR solutions for the Air, Line-haul, Sortation and Delivery Station transportation teams in Europe. You will be a key contributor to shaping our strategic innovation program by equipping the project teams with the insights and tools to drive the performance and ensure the highest customer satisfaction.

The growth of the business and the increasing complexity of the European transportation and logistics network make this role an exciting, interesting, and very challenging proposition. Expect to get involved in supporting new projects and initiatives, driving performance, and help building plans for the future.

You will have an eye for detail, experience in delivering end to end tech products from requirements, scoping, planning, tracking, testing launch and roll out. The role requires you to feel comfortable working with and clearly communicating with other functional teams, regionally and globally.

The position will be based in Luxembourg. You will be reporting to a Senior Manager, working with their (larger) project team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative and an analytical problem solver

Key job responsibilities

  • Define business opportunity, long term vision and roadmap for our product offerings.
  • Lead expansion of our product globally, including defining strategy and fully owning product and marketing roadmap for international expansion.
  • Scale innovative solutions to Amazon's size by working closely with data scientists and engineers.
  • Own and drive strategic product communications (e.g., decision narratives, investment proposals) with senior leaders and executives.
  • Design mechanisms to ensure long-term product and business success.
  • Drive alignment between product, design, tech, science, and risk to execute on the vision.
  • Comfortable communicating with technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple teams, gathering requirements and delivering complete solutions. - Work with in-house global supply chain, transportation and logistics teams to identify new software engineering, Data Science and AI capabilities and projects

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in technical product or program management
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience in software development
  • Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience in managing large-scale ML/ AI or Math Optimization programs/ products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • Hands-on experience in development/ deployment of ML/ AI, software and data software systems
