As LGT implements its digital vision, LGT Digital Factory (DiF) acts as a strategic nearshore partner to implement state-of-the-art client and employee IT front ends. To fulfill this mission, we interact closely with LGT business and IT units and third-party vendors. You can expect state-of-the-art development tools and best-in-class DevOps processes. Together with a young, highly motivated team you will build promising Frontends for our Digital Products.
Your Challenge

As a front-end developer, you will be critical in building and optimizing digital tools and user interfaces for the financial services industry. You have already gained 1-3 years of experience in co-creating responsive, secure, and user-centric web applications for both financial advisors and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) clients. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, backend developers, and business analysts, you will ensure the seamless integration of front-end components with backend services.
Your Profile
Education: Bachelor (or Master) in computer science
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Frontend Frameworks/Libraries: Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, and Web Components (Lit components nice to have).
- State Management: Familiarity with Redux, Context API, and other state management tools.
- UI Frameworks: Experience with UI5 SAP Fiori (nice to have).
- Component-Based Architecture: Expertise in designing, creating, and optimizing reusable components.
- API Integration: Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Testing Frameworks: Proficiency in Playwright, Cypress, and Jest.
- Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing frontend applications for speed and efficiency.
- Accessibility (a11y): Knowledge of WCAG guidelines, semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and best practices for inclusive web development.
- Tooling & Build Systems: Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, ESLint, Prettier).
UX and Design Integration:
- Ability to translate complex UI/UX designs into responsive, functional interfaces.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience in working with a UI-Design System
Performance and Security:
- Experience optimizing web applications for performance and scalability.
- Awareness of secure coding practices in frontend development.
Business fluent in English
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with financial services platforms or private banking workflows.
- Knowledge of TypeScript for scalable development.
- Experience with front-end build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) for financial data representation.
- Willingness to take over broader, technical responsibilities

- The job offers a hybrid office situation with a minimum of 2 days of presence expected.
