Role: Data Scientist - Gen AI, ML

Location: Geneva, Switzerland - Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days Remote)

Job Description

Experience required -

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Communication Systems, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development, with proficiency in multiple modern programming languages, incl. Python
• Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Data Science techniques and mastery of the pandas library.
• Proven track record of at least 12 months working with Chat GPT or equivalent conversational AI platforms
• In-depth knowledge of API development and integration
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while fostering teamwork and collaboration
• Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members alike

Responsibilities -

• Conduct cutting-edge research on AI and ML techniques, with a focus on generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Stay up-to-date with and share expertise in prompt engineering strategies, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques, and agentic approaches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, incl. business stakeholders, to translate user needs, pain points and opportunities, into tailored AI solutions for our business
• Lead the development and deployment of these innovative solutions, working iteratively and responding to user feedback
• Be comfortable in quickly prototyping solutions that can be tested by users, as well as in producing high-quality code for enterprise solutions
• Contribute to establishing best practices in coding, testing and software design for LLM applications
• Mentor and support the professional growth of junior AI engineers and data scientists
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
