As a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA) for a wide range of Grid Solutions projects, including R&D initiatives, product development (hardware & software), and full-scope critical infrastructure systems such as HVDC, HVAC, Firefighting, and more.

By identifying, assessing, and prioritizing cybersecurity risks, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure that potential threats are detected early and that appropriate mitigation measures are implemented. Your work will contribute directly to improving project execution, security compliance, and market readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk analyses – Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks across projects and systems, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Develop mitigation strategies – Create and oversee the implementation of risk mitigation measures to enhance security resilience.
• Continuous monitoring & updates – Regularly update risk assessments and mitigation strategies to adapt to evolving threats.
• Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with engineering, R&D, IT, and security teams to implement and optimize security features.
• Utilize advanced tools – Conduct analyses using predefined tools such as the PSS Threat and Risk Excel Tool and other cybersecurity frameworks.
• Support expansion of TRA as a service – Contribute to the long-term goal of extending TRA services to regional operations, improving cybersecurity risk management across all Grid Solutions.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (with IT Security focus), or a comparable qualification.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk analysis methodologies, and analytical skills for threat assessment.
• Experience with threat modeling techniques and risk assessment frameworks.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus).
