NETWORK AND SECURITY TECHNICIAN

Network and security technician with face-to-face work in Lclient offices in Tres Cantos- PTM Madrid

One week can be done remotely, every three weeks of service Work schedule: it can be morning shift (7am to 3pm) or party hours (9am to 6:30pm)

Will perform weekly shifts at least 1 week a month with pay

Must be available to perform paid and planned out-of-hours interventions

You will be part of a work group of 5 people, managed by a service coordinator who supports the internal group of 5 client technicians.

Mostly dedicated to end-customer support tasks on a diffrect basis for network service incidents/requests, more than 70% of the time Rest of the time dedicated to engineering tasks/network design and projects.

Your future duties and responsibilities

As a Network Engineer you will perform the following tasks:

• Direct support to internal clients of client (more than 4,000 employees) for network services
• Support for incidents in network equipment in the 4 Datacenters (more than 400 network equipment) both LAN and WAN
• Advanced level 2 support for network incidents
• Support for network design and engineering for new deployments/migrations/projects
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Minimum requirements: core technical knowledge and experience in engineering, support and projects of:

• Cisco LAN and WAN networks
• Routing (OSPF, BGP…)
• Authentication, Radius, Tacacs Cisco ISE, Clearpass
• NAC 802.1 x
• Firewall (rule creation): Palo Alto, Fortinet
• Application Balancers (ADC): creation of irules with F5 LTM/BTM
• Network monitoring: Cacti, Nagios,…
