Assignment Description:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer with a Backend Focus for our client's Product Development & Engineering department.

Daily Tasks:

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions following the best programming and architecture standards.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and alignment with business needs.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues by applying programming best practices.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices through threat modeling and build pipelines to ensure secure software delivery.
  • Handle incident response efforts, coordinate with teams, and perform root cause analysis for complex issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance and improve operational processes.
  • Contribute technical expertise to business initiatives, helping shape organizational objectives.

Technical Skills:

  • Solid experience in Java 11+ and Spring Boot for backend development.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Strong understanding of databases, with a preference for Cosmos DB.
  • Familiarity with React.js, with the ability to handle UI tasks independently when needed.
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery for data processing.
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies, such as Docker.

Required Cloud Certification: Programming or Cloud certifications preferred

Workload: 100%
