About the Company:

We are currently in the MVP development stage and are looking for passionate, talented individuals to join our team. As a Programmer/Developer intern at EpicPlays, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that directly impact our platform's growth and success. You will collaborate with our team to develop and enhance features, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the backend team to build and enhance platform features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable backend code.
• Develop and optimize APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end components.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to a high-quality backend codebase.
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting backend issues.
• Work on integrating new technologies and optimizing performance, particularly in server-side architecture.
• Contribute to the backend development of our MVP and future platform iterations.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java and a solid understanding of backend systems and architecture.
• Familiarity with API development, cloud services, and serverless architecture.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud providers.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a backend-focused team.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Mandatory: Proficiency in English.
• Nice-to-have: Passion for sports and athlete development.
