Machine Learning Engineer

We are currently seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for one of our Research and Development companies based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models for various applications.
• Design and optimize data pipelines for efficient model training and inference.
• Implement and fine-tune deep learning and traditional ML algorithms.
• Work with large datasets, conduct feature engineering, and ensure data quality.
• Develop APIs and integrate ML models into production systems.
• Monitor and optimize model performance, retrain models as needed.
• Research and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business objectives and AI strategies.
• Ensure compliance with AI ethics, data privacy, and security best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or AI-related roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, etc.).
• Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps.
• Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Strong understanding of deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or related areas.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in deploying ML models using Docker, Kubernetes, or FastAPI.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, hyperparameter tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Understanding of reinforcement learning, generative AI, and LLMs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
