Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Web/Mobile Development to lead their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a significant budget as part of the investment portfolio, and to play a key role in shaping the technology roadmap in close consultation with various teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the global design of mobile and web services, client journeys, and will serve as the single point of contact for application ownership and adherence to SLAs.

What You'll Do

As the Head of Web/Mobile Development, you will be at the forefront of technological innovation. You will oversee multiple teams as a subdomain lead within a larger organisational structure, partnering closely with business to drive the delivery process. Your role will involve working closely with Distribution business, Channels and Products Business lines, providing leadership and technical expertise for the Sub Domain. You will also lead architecture evaluations during RFPs for technology tools and service providers. A key part of your role will be supporting continuous improvement to increase operation efficiency and effectiveness across domains.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Head of Web/Mobile Development role brings a wealth of experience and skills to the table. With a Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience), you have spent over 15 years in Technology Leadership Roles. Your strong leadership skills are complemented by effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in start-ups or an agile mindset is highly desirable. You are knowledgeable on modern object orientated programming practises including entity frameworks, dynamic reflection, reusable interfaces, non-blocking reactive design.

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 15+ years of experience in Technology Leadership Roles
• Strong leadership skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in start-ups/agile mindset
• Knowledgeable on modern object orientated programming practises
