Devops Engineer

Kinetikos Health is a healthcare technology company dedicated to improving patient outcomes through the use of innovative digital solutions. We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our cutting-edge movement system.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of our healthcare system on AWS

Collaborate with our software engineers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to understand their needs and requirements for the platform

Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code that is easy to maintain and modify

Optimize the performance and scalability of our backend systems to handle large amounts of data and traffic

Implement security measures and data protection policies to ensure the safety and confidentiality of our users' data

Debug and troubleshoot issues with the backend systems and provide timely solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI).

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Proficiency in managing and scaling virtualized and containerized environments.

Ability to design and implement highly available and fault-tolerant systems.

Experience with infrastructure optimization and cost management in the cloud.

Knowledge of server provisioning and maintenance, including patching and updates.

Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.

Nice To Have

Strong understanding of security principles and best practices for securing infrastructure and applications.

Awareness of compliance standards and regulations relevant to the industry (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
