Golang Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Design, architect, and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems to support our applications.

2. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as [Go, Scala, Java], adhering to best practices and quality standards.

3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and architects, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

4. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards.

5. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to testing and maintenance.

6. Optimize solutions for performance, scalability and efficiency.

7. Diagnose and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring the reliability and scalability of the backend infrastructure.

8. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for both code and system architecture.

Qualifications:

1. B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science/IT from renowned college/university with 8-15 years of overall IT experience.

2. Extensive experience in building REST/gRPC based services (ex Web Application Development)

3. Hands on experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance systems.

4. Proficiency in programming languages such as GoLang, Scala, Java etc.

5. Hands-on experience of cloud services (AWS is preferred) and tools and platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools like Grafana is a plus.

6. Exposure to Microservices architecture.

7. Hands-on experience with various databases like MySql, PostgreSql, Mongo.

8. Exposure to the Advertisement domain will be an added advantage.

9. Excellent problem-solving (using Data Structures and Algorithms) and communication skills.

10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

11. Experience in EMR, Spark, Scala will be a big plus.
