Senior Laravel Engineer - FinTech Platform

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Laravel Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a backend-focused role where you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining our core platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a modern tech stack, contribute to key architectural decisions, and have a direct impact on the success of our product.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure PHP code using the Laravel framework.
• Design and implement robust APIs for integration with our frontend (React) and other services.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our backend systems.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Contribute to improving our development processes with best practices.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS using infrastructure as code (Terraform) and Kubernetes.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in PHP development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles.
• Proven experience with the Laravel framework.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Kubernetes) is essential.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for building high-quality software and a desire to learn and grow.
• Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
