Full Stack Developer (.NET Core)

Salary: Confidential but 6 figures base salary

Bonus: 30% bonus, equity, health, dental, life and pension

Important: This is a fully onsite role in their Dublin 2 office and unfortunately no scope for negotiation on that.

My client is a global investment manager, and with teams based in New York, Miami, and Singapore, they are expanding their office in Dublin to support our EU users.

The local team is responsible for supporting operational users with reconciliation, asset servicing, and reporting. We manage systems for corporate actions and reconciliation, integrating with internal subledger systems across the firm. The team also handles daily reports to counterparties on trades and positions.

This role requires strong communication skills alongside programming expertise to engage directly with regional users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and own software solutions.
• Collaborate with the team to design technical solutions.
• Analyze data to identify defects and suggest improvements.
• Manage projects and stakeholder expectations.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of production-level .NET Core development experience.
• Strong OOP knowledge with .NET Core, MS SQL Server, Postgres.
• Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka and microservices.
• Proficient in writing reliable, readable code and conducting code reviews.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with tools like JIRA.
• Familiar with agile development and CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, integration, and testing.
• Analytical with problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with AWS-based solutions and resiliency.
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes deployments.
• Familiarity with TypeScript frameworks like Angular.
• Experience with UI customization (e.g. Bootstrap/Material Design).
• Background in trading applications and financial services instruments.
• Development experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
