We're expanding and seeking a skilled professional to join our Engineering Department as a
Data analyst
Role & Responsibilities:
- Visualize Data – Design and develop intuitive dashboards and reports using BI tools to support business decision-making.
- Gather & Define Data Requirements – Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into structured requirements.
- Develop Data Models – Assist in the design and optimization of semantic data models for our data warehouse to ensure efficient data analysis and reporting.
- Drive Data Initiatives – Work cross-functionally with business development teams, data and software engineers to deliver impactful data solutions in a timely manner.
- Innovate & Optimize – Analyze business challenges to identify opportunities for new data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2 years in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst role—experience in startups or fast-paced environments is a plus!
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data science, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio) for dashboard creation.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
- Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Collaboration: Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner. Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in Latvian and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical thinker with a strong ability to tackle open-ended problems in evolving environments.
