As a result of a new opening in the team, we seek a motivated and enthusiastic student based in the Netherlands for a 4-6 months internship.

Internship: Data Scientist – Data Pipeline Development

Into Action

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Student in Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a robust data pipeline that consolidates various data sources for efficient querying and analysis. This role involves a mix of data engineering, data analysis, and software development skills.

The Challenge

You will design and implement scalable data pipelines to consolidate data from multiple sources and

ensure the integrity, reliability, and timely availability of data. Furthermore, you will develop processes for data modeling, mining, and production and identify opportunities to optimize data flow and collection.

You will work closely with data analysts team, applied teams and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements. You will Implement systems for tracking data quality and consistency.

You will optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards and reports for end users.

Qualifications

Your Profile

• You're currently studying a Master’s in the direction of Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• You're living in The Netherlands.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and experience with scripting languages.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud and AWS services
• Proficiency in relational SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, D3.js, GGplot, etc.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
