Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work on a day-to-day basis with our design, frontend, backend and testing team to build a scalable and solid product.
  • Working using best practices (testing, code reviews, DDD, CI/CD, clean code...) and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate in the design of the cluster architecture.
  • Lead and Mentor: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
  • Create of new automated tests/alerts.
  • Analysis of new functionalities/system improvements.
  • Innovate: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, suggesting improvements and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our products.
  • Testing and Debugging: Write unit and integration tests.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Python programming language (at least 4-5 years).
  • Demonstrated experience with web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
  • Proficient with message brokers like Kafka.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.
  • Strong skills on SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or mySQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing strategies and tooling, like unit, integration testing, PyTest, etc.
  • Experience with setting up, maintaining and monitoring CI/CD pipelines and applications (Grafana, Prometheus, Traceroute).
  • Expertise in microservices.
  • Experience with Clean Architectures.
  • Hands on in designing, implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Nice to have:
  • Familiar with ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
  • Experience on noSQL DB like MongoDB, Druid, Redis, Redshift or BigQuery.
