Enterprise Network Engineer
Role:
As an Enterprise Network Engineer, you will work for a leading Dutch Managed Service Provider (MSP) that has secured a significant project to migrate a customer's legacy network infrastructure to a cutting-edge, next-generation technology stack. This role involves supporting the full lifecycle of the implementation project, including design, deployment, and post-implementation support. You will work with advanced Cisco technologies such as Software-Defined Access (SDA), Identity Services Engine (ISE), and Firepower, playing a key role in ensuring the successful transition to a secure, scalable, and modernized network infrastructure. The position offers hybrid working based in Oosterhout, Netherlands, with occasional travel to customer sites across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of the migration of legacy network systems to a next-generation Cisco-based technology stack, including SDA, ISE, and Firepower.
- Provide end-to-end support for the network implementation project, from initial design to final deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with both internal teams and customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored networking solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide technical guidance to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Configure and implement Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and other security measures to ensure network resilience and compliance.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Skills/Must Have:
- Certifications: CCNP in Routing & Switching or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
- Expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls, specifically Cisco Firepower, or similar NGFW solutions.
- Proven experience in implementing Cisco SDA, ISE, and other advanced networking solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex network issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary:
€60-€70 Per Hour + paid travel and accommodation
