About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and take on diverse and challenging assignments in automotive electronics and software development. This role focuses on the design, development, validation, and optimization of embedded systems for electric drive units (EDUs), powertrain control systems, and vehicle diagnostics.

As part of our growing engineering team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge automotive technologies while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO/SAE 21434.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Embedded Software Development: Design and develop embedded software for automotive powertrain and electric drive units (EDUs).
  • Calibration & Validation: Lead calibration activities for powertrain systems, ensuring compliance with emissions, safety, and performance standards.
  • HiL/SIL Testing & Validation: Develop and maintain HiL test environments, automate test execution, and analyze results to improve system quality.
  • Control Systems & Algorithms: Implement and optimize real-time control strategies using Model-Based Development (MBD) with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Diagnostics & Fault Analysis: Work with vehicle diagnostics, implementing strategies using OBDII, ISO 14229, and failure mode analysis (FMEA/FTA).
  • Automotive Communication Protocols: Work with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet for ECU communication and testing.
  • AUTOSAR & Middleware Development: Develop software components following the AUTOSAR framework for seamless ECU integration.
  • Agile Development & CI/CD: Implement software solutions following Agile methodologies, using tools like Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Compliance & Cybersecurity: Ensure adherence to ISO 26262 for functional safety and ISO/SAE 21434 for secure software development.


Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded software development.
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python and CAPL for test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with HiL, SiL, and ViL testing frameworks (dSPACE, Vector tools, AutomationDesk, TestStand, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive platforms.
  • Experience in calibration tools like CANape, ETAS INCA, and MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Understanding of automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, OBD-II, UDS, ISO 14229).
  • Proficiency in diagnostics and fault analysis, including FMEA and fault injection testing.
  • Experience with hardware interfaces, microcontroller peripherals, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Perforce.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using CANoe, CANalyzer, and Vector tools.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Model-Based Development (MBD) using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of powertrain and electric drive unit (EDU) control strategies.
  • Experience in secure software development and cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434).
  • Hands-on experience with plant modeling, stateflow, and real-time simulations.
  • Familiarity with Automotive Ethernet and network security protocols.
