We are looking for a Senior Network Specialist with the following qualifications to work at the Sabancı University Information Technologies Unit.

Qualifications

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities,
• At least 8 years of experience in network systems design, installation and management LAN / WAN / WLAN,
• Proficient in Routing and Switching (TCP/IP, STP, LACP, L2 - L3, VPN, IPSEC VPN, GRE, VRRP, etc.),
• Having a CCNA certificate,
• Experienced in Freeradius, NAC, 802.1X services,
• Preferably familiar with Aruba wireless management and installation,
• Preferably knowledgeable about Palo Alto on the Firewall side,
• Scripting and Python programming knowledge in network management,

Job Description

• Solving university data centers, local network and Internet connections, troubleshooting network problems,
• Campus switch configuration, management, update,
• Managing and updating the campus wireless infrastructure,
• Establishing security policy rules on NGFW,
• Managing network management software (freeradius, bind, isc dhcp etc.) on Linux and Windows systems,
• Ensuring the security and business continuity of network devices, performing periodic network tests,
• Network product log management (Firewall, switch, radius, dhcp, etc.) and log analysis,
