Responsibilities
- Lead Migration: Oversee the transition from an in-house identity management system to a third-party IDP, ensuring minimal downtime and security best practices.
- Technical Strategy: Define the integration approach, focusing on scalability, security, and performance. Provide architectural guidance and best practices.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor engineers throughout the migration process, covering design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, security teams, and stakeholders to align requirements and priorities.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to standards like GDPR, SOC2, and best practices for authentication and authorization.
- Risk & Performance Management: Identify risks, monitor system performance post-migration, and lead issue resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Optimize identity and access management processes for future scalability.
- Experience: 12+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- IDP Expertise: Hands-on experience with IDP migrations involving Okta, Auth0, PingFederate, AWS Cognito, or similar CIAM platforms.
- Identity Management: Strong understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, MFA, and SSO.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
- Project Management: Ability to manage end-to-end migration projects efficiently.
- Onsite-Offshore Model: Should be comfortable working in a hybrid team setup.
