Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with SQL Backend expertise (8+ years) to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while ensuring high performance, security, and best coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.

Design, optimize, and manage SQL databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL), ensuring high performance and efficiency.

Write and optimize complex stored procedures, queries, triggers, and indexing strategies.

Architect and develop RESTful APIs and Web Services for seamless integration between frontend and backend.

Ensure application security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues efficiently.

Lead code reviews, system design discussions, and architectural improvements.

Work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders.

Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git) for efficient deployment.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership within the team.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and best industry practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in .NET development with a strong focus on SQL backend.

Expert-level proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Web API development.

Advanced experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, performance tuning, indexing).

Strong understanding of Entity Framework, LINQ, and ORM tools.

Deep knowledge of API development, integration, and security best practices.

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Proficiency in version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firebase, etc.).

Familiarity with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor) is a plus.
