Essential Details:

• Internship Duration: Our internship program will be 9 weeks, with a start date of June 3rd, and ending July 31st.
• Hybrid Work Schedule: Work remotely on Mondays and join us in the office Tuesdays - Thursdays with no work on Fridays – enjoy your 3-day weekend!
• Office Location: Join us at our vibrant & amazing office, located at 1221 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL
• Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Location: Must be based in Miami, FL with no relocation accepted
  
  
  

As a Boats Group intern, you will be helping our company become stronger and more resilient. You will be working with the infrastructure that powers our company’s worldwide websites, enabling us to more efficiently use existing infrastructure, grow where needed, and instantly rebuild infrastructure whenever required.

Over the summer, you'll work on projects, tackle daily tasks, and work collaboratively with our team. In general, your responsibilities will include:

• Building automation to allow crew members to self-service
• Upgrading existing infrastructure to take advantage of new technologies
• Improving our security posture according to recommendations from our AWS technical account manager
  
  
  

We know you're just starting your career. But here are a few things that you should have to succeed in this internship:

• Willingness to learn. Few candidates, including those who have been in the industry for years, know all the technologies we use. Being willing to dive in and discover new and exciting technologies is essential.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure. AWS is preferred. However, if you have knowledge of Azure, GCP, Digital Ocean, or any other cloud providers then you will find many of the same concepts apply to all of them.
• An enjoyment of software development, especially around task automation.
• The ability to work closely with other people, even when they are not close. We are an international team, with customers all over the world. You will need to be able to reach out and talk with all those who can assist you in your successes.

• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Local to Miami: To guarantee a seamless and enriching experience, candidates must be based in Miami, FL. (Relocation not accepted.) Join us in the heart of Miami for an unforgettable journey!
