Senior UI/UX Designer

Founded in 2012, N-iX Game & VR Studio is one of Ukraine's most significant game development and art production vendors. We work with leading publishers and media enterprises around the globe. The team of 240+ professionals focuses on full-cycle game development, VR solutions, and content creation for all the most popular platforms. The studio has successfully collaborated with over 40 clients, including Paradox Interactive, Tempo Storm, Supermassive Games, and VRChat.

N-iX Game and VR Studio is looking for a creative and motivated Senior UI/UX Designer to help our customers build the ideal product. In this position, we expect you to innovate and create modern interfaces using the most recent design trends. Knowledge about game development tech processes will be a huge plus.

Responsibilities:

Work with a design library to provide new layouts based on it
Create and improve design systems
Document design solutions in a clear and convenient manner
Create a friendly user experience, identify and troubleshoot UX problems
Design mockups and prototypes that clearly demonstrate interactions
Design graphical assets (icons and other elements) to be used in the UI
Prepare design assets for development, usually for game engines
Collaborate with a team of engineers in the implementation of UI solutions
Present design to the customer and conduct layout adjustments based on feedback

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer in Game Development
The portfolio should fit the game development industry (art/graphic design skills)
Fluency of working in Figma
Experience working in Adobe Photoshop
Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Ability to work productively and follow commitments

Good to have:

Experience in optimization of UI to be implemented in Unity/Unreal engine
Experience in UI motion design using Adobe After Effects (or similar programs)
Skills in 3D graphics (to build volumetric UI, etc.)
Skills in 2D art (to draw complex icons, panels, etc.)
English: Intermediate+
