Credit Risk Manager - Infrastructure & Project Finance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Officer to join a dynamic Infrastructure & Project Finance Credit team. This role is central to assessing and managing credit risk for structured financing in UK infrastructure and renewable energy transition.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent credit assessments, evaluating financial, market, and technical risks.
• Work closely with originators, relationship managers, and product partners to shape structured credit proposals.
• Monitor and control credit exposures, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory policies.
• Undertake sector and market research to strengthen credit evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records to meet reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Strong credit risk management experience in infrastructure and project finance (including renewables).
• Technical understanding of UK and US markets.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and justify decisions.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong decision-making, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
