Back End Developer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll utilise your advanced knowledge of software engineering

principles and practices to achieve business outcomes and draw on core technology and

domain knowledge to lead the design, enhancement and maintenance of technology solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Technical skills spanning the full stack, with an emphasis on the backend

• A passion for designing, developing and deploying high quality software solutions.

• Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including partnering with business

for requirements, designing solutions, development, deployment, and monitoring and

support

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing and governance

• A solid understanding of microservice and distributed system design patterns

• A solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure and cloud services that host .NET

applications

• Strong people and collaboration skills to work well in teams

• Previous experience mentoring and developing junior engineers

Tech skills:

This is a highly technical role, requiring a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.

We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with most of these will set you

up for success in this team:

• Full Cycle engineering (design, build, run and manage)

• Full Stack technologies - C# .NET Core / Web APIs

• Testing Frameworks - Selenium, mountebank, Pact, xUnit

• DevOps & CI/CD pipelines - GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins

• Monitoring & observability – OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS

Cloudwatch

• Cloud - AWS preferred

• Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes
