As a result of continued growth within Seisma Group an exciting opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join one of our premium banking clients.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in automating, deploying, and managing infrastructure and applications, primarily within a Red Hat Linux environment. Your experience with SWIFT payments applications and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS will help drive the reliability and scalability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support the continuous integration and deployment of payments applications.
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators to improve operational processes and system performance.
- Administer and manage Red Hat Linux servers, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to manage system configurations.
- Work on payment application message flows, with exposure to SWIFT low-value and high-value transactions considered an advantage.
- Utilize cloud platforms like Azure and AWS to optimize infrastructure scalability and performance.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
- Apply best security practices to maintain the integrity of payment systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and contribute to system documentation.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on payments applications or a similar environment.
- Familiarity with payment message flows, particularly with SWIFT for low and high-value transactions, is a plus.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly Azure and AWS, is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
