Network Engineer

• 12 Month contract + high potential for extension
• Day rate up to $1100 + Super depending on provided experience
• Hybrid working arrangement - WFH/Office

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join a leading financial institution. This role is responsible for building, implementing, and testing secure network solutions across WAN and Campus Networks, supporting offices and international sites. The organisation has developed network designs and security strategies, and we are looking for a hands-on engineer to implement them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimise Cisco-based WAN and Campus Networks across multiple locations
• Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and servers to ensure network security and performance
• Secure network infrastructure with a focus on 802.1x authentication for LAN
• Collaborate with network architects to transition designs into production
• Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting within a lab environment
• Be available for out-of-hours changes (this will be paid time in lieu for any hours worked)

Skills and experience required:

• Strong hands on experience as a network engineer involved in implementation of designs
• Experience with 802.1X AND Cisco ISE is essential
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies
• Knowledge of Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) and Software-Defined Access (SDA)
• Experience with Aruba ClearPass is beneficial
• Strong routing and switching skills
