Role Description:

Manage the end-to-end Commissioning process on projects within the mission critical sector on electrical, mechanical and controls infrastructure.

• Project manage all commissioning activity by clearly identifying scope and directing/ensuring the overall project eco-system is aligned with our completion philosophy and overall commissioning requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and decisiveness when facing technical challenge to keep the project progressing.
• Be the POC for all commissioning activity on the project.
• Chair daily meetings on planned vs. actual activities/other metrics and providing mitigation for any delta and continually mitigating completion risk.
• Align activities towards the safety plan and ensure team adherence to same - especially PTW, SSOW and LOTO systems, etc.
• Support the planning and scheduling teams to align construction completion activity towards commissioning completion requirements.
• Agile approach to delivery – able to continue moving forward even when facing challenges during the commissioning process. Continually problem solving.
• Develop commissioning plan that lists the detailed roles and responsibilities and procedures to execute the project correctly providing our customers with predictable delivery.

Ideally you will have:

• Project Management Skills
• Candidate must possess experience and knowledge of installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting & maintenance of heavy commercial/ industrial MEP systems.
• Must have a strong technical background in commissioning MEP systems.
• Construction completions background
• Control system integration knowledge – PLC, BMS, SCADA, EPMS
• Excellent knowledge on data centre technical systems (MV & LV Switchgear, UPS, STS, Generator, ATS, AHU, Chiller, Fan Wall, Control systems, etc.)
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering (10+ years’ practical direct MEP commissioning/ commissioning management experience) – Electrical, Mechanical, Control system, Building Services, Aeronautical Engineering, Marine Engineering, etc.
