Your mission

As a Python Software Engineer, you play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Python-based software solutions to automate experimental measurements, integrate instruments, and enable efficient data handling.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Develop and enhance Python software to automate measurement systems.
• Integrate new instruments and communication protocols such as GPIB, USB, RS232, and Ethernet.
• Diagnose and resolve real-time data acquisition and instrument communication problems.
• Create automated workflows for scheduling experiments, collecting data, and processing results.
• Optimize Python scripts for efficient handling of large datasets.
• Automate data quality control processes to ensure accurate and dependable results.

Your profile

• Very proficient in Python, with extensive experience in system automation, instrument control, and backend development.
• Practical experience interfacing with lab instruments using protocols like GPIB, RS232, USB, and Ethernet.
• Expertise in developing Python-based automation frameworks for data processing and measurement.
• Knowledge of database management, especially with Azure cloud databases and optimizing queries.
• Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborating within development teams.
• Bonus: Experience with AI-based data validation and predictive analytics.
