About the Team:

As a Technical Lead, you’ll be part of the Software Engineering team, collaborating closely with Product, Data Science, and Platform Engineering teams. Together, we build scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions that drive our mission. You’ll guide the technical direction while remaining hands-on with software development and system design.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Technical Lead to guide and mentor a team of engineers while leading the design and execution of key software projects. You’ll take ownership of high-impact projects, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of our healthcare clients. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on coding and engineering, allowing you to drive innovation while maintaining a focus on scalability, performance, and quality.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions across frontend and backend systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Architect complex software systems that align with business goals and integrate seamlessly with other services.
• Mentor and guide engineers of varying levels, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth.
• Make critical technical decisions, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategic goals, while evaluating and recommending new tools, technologies, and practices.
• Actively contribute to coding, code reviews, and technical decision-making, leading by example.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment across departments.
• Ensure the engineering team adheres to Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and drives continuous improvement in our development processes.
• Communicate complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating challenges into business solutions.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in security, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS), and DevOps tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker).

About You:

You are a hands-on leader with a strong technical background, passionate about mentoring engineers and delivering high-impact software solutions. You bring:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Proven leadership experience, capable of mentoring and guiding a diverse team of engineers.
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable APIs using REST/GraphQL and integrating frontend/backend systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including services like S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and SES.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Deep understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and the ability to write efficient SQL queries.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments, using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Familiarity with security best practices in software development and cloud-based applications.
• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is a plus
