For one of our main clients based in Luxembourg - major financial institution, we are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with experience in Azure DevOps to join our team in the area of finance, governance, and software development. You will play a crucial role in supporting the development, maintenance and the evolution of a treasury application in the financial sector.

The role will be performed on hybrid mode (2-3 days in the office/home) based in Luxembourg, therefore being based in Benelux area or relocation to Benelux will be required.

As a Java Engineer, you will perform the following tasks:

• Perform different automation for build / validation / deployment / release using Azure DevOps;
• Support the different development activities and production environment and assist the root cause analysis of various issues in the system concerning the database, the java environment, the core application, python scripts, etc.;
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines;
• Support the build/validation/deployment/release processes;
• Basic system administration of Unix systems;
• Generating reports of results of the pipeline execution;
• Support root cause analysis of various issues that may occur in the development or the production environment.

Are you the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s degree in IT field;
• Advanced English skills (level C1);
• 5 years of experience in Java software development;
• 5 years of experience/solid knowledge of Azure DevOps;
• 5 years of experience/solid knowledge of Unix usage;
• Experience with relational DBs (SQL) and stored procedures.

It will be nice if you have…

• Experience in the financial sector;
• Recommended knowledge of French (level B2).
