Technical Documentation

Prepare comprehensive requirements and design documents, formatted in accordance with FIR’s established guidelines.

Database Architecture & Integration

Design and implement efficient database schemas, integration methodologies, and data loading scripts for Microsoft SQL Server. This should include a well-defined integration plan to seamlessly align with ESM’s existing IT ecosystem, ensuring improved data management and accessibility. Detailed supporting documentation must also be provided.

Application Development

Build front-end applications designed to present analytical insights in a clear and user-friendly manner.

End-User & Operational Documentation

Supply thorough documentation to support both operators and end-users.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

Conduct training sessions aimed at upskilling FIR employees in database and application development.

Code Delivery & Quality Assurance

Provide source code that aligns with our quality standards, including proper configuration, automated unit tests (pytest), and adherence to best practices.

Skills

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in IT, data modelling, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with financial data APIs, specifically Bloomberg and Refinitiv.

At least 1 year of experience working with:

• Python and Dash, including Selenium.
• Financial application development.
• Microsoft SQL Server.
• SharePoint and Power BI.
• Multinational financial institutions.

Experience with:

• Version control tools (e.g., Git).
• CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Code quality assessment tools (e.g., SonarQube).
