Java Software Engineer

Software Engineer ( JAVA Specialist )

My international client is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Java experience to join the team on a contract assignment. This is a hybrid role with mainly remote working ( 75% ) but onsite working as well on the customer offices in Luxembourg ( 25% )

Tasks and responsibilities

Perform different automation for build / validation / deployment / release using Azure DevOps.

Support the different development activities and production environment and assist the root cause analysis of various issues in the system concerning the database, the java environment, the core application, python scripts, etc.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Support the build/validation/deployment/release processes

Basic system administration of unix systems

Generating reports of results of the pipeline execution

Support root cause analysis of various issues that may occur in the development or the production environment

Required skills and experience

Bachelor or Master degree

English (at least C1 level), French (will be an advantage)

At least 7 years’ experiencewithSolid Azure DevOps knowledge

At least 7 years’ experiencewith Excellent Unix usage

At least 7 years’ experiencewith Java programming language, its runtime environment

Good understanding of Relational DBs (SQL) and stored procedures

Previous experience with Wallstreet Suite would be advantageous
