Are you passionate about blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and building revolutionary platforms? CRYLO® is looking for a Quantitative Developer who is not only a master in mathematics and statistics but also a visionary leader with experience in DeFi and or investment management. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, financial data analysis, and portfolio management to build a sleek, high-performance platform using multiple AI and ML algorithms and make them work together.

You will own a major part of the backend and develop it together with a brilliant team, ensuring that our platform is not just functional but outstanding. As our Quant expert, you’ll work closely with the CTO and back- and frontend developers to create an intuitive experience for investors entering the DeFi space.

• Building and enhancing the quant technology stack for our backend.


• Catch market data, build a robust price and risk management system for live trading of AI-driven crypto portfolios.


• Develop the quant architecture, deploy, and manage cloud-based systems for storing and exploring very large datasets.


• Collaborate with a team of backend and frontend developers to roll-out automated trading strategies.


• Maintain high-quality coding standards, as well as a scalable system for data processing and low-latency trading.


• Monitor, support, debug, and extend existing trading and research infrastructure.


• Take ownership of the portfolio management and trading platform development, its roadmap, ensuring scalability and performance.

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering with a specialization in quantitative finance.


• 5+ years of professional experience as a Quantitative Developer with advanced Python skills.


• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab and SQL.


• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.


• Deep understanding of market data, risk management, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threaded programming.


• Experience with quantitative libraries, APIs, and high-performance computing frameworks.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


• Team player with strong pride of ownership


• Comfortable or native in web3 technology and cryptocurrency markets, with an understanding of blockchain-based applications is a plus.


• Expertise in automated algorithmic trading is a huge advantage.


• Native or professional English is a must.


• Hands-on experience in a startup environment is a plus.


• Working experience in a fast-paced quantitative trading company is another plus.


• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
