Android Automotive Architect

Due to new project ramp-up for leading EU OEM in area of Android Automotive IVI, Intellias is glad to announce a vacancy for Android Automotive Architect position! The project is focused on development of next generation IVI media casting solution. Successful candidates will be working in very friendly and process oriented team, designing, developing and optimizing high quality solution for one of the most famous EU OEM! The team will work according to a Scaled Agile framework best practices, used by the OEM, with focus on technology excellence and high automotive-grade quality standards.

What project we have for you

Project goal is development of IVI media casting solution on Android Automotive software platform for leading EU OEM. It is full cycle development project that at the moment is in early software architectural design phase. The following technology stack is planned to be used: AOSP based Android Automotive SW platform, Kotlin/Java/C++ programming languages, Media casting technologies incl. Google Cast and Apple AirPlay. Team size at the peak will be 10+ engineers. Scaled Agile best practices alongside with automotive grade processes will be applied on this project.

What you will do

Responsibilities of Android Automotive Architect assumed to be:

• Software design of media casting software components for AOSP Android Automotive platform
• Source code review of AOSP Android Automotive software components
• Optimization of media casting components from architectural and algorithmic point of view
• Drive team to achieve optimal software architecture
• Attendance of Scaled Agile ceremonies

Requirements:

• Experience with Google Cast or Apple AirPlay
• Kotlin experience, 3+ years
• Java experience, 5+ years
• Media casting technologies, 1+ year

Will be a plus:

• Android development experience, 2+ year
• Scaled Agile experience
