Senior .NET Developer with Contentful / Contract

About the Role:

A Tech Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with experience in Contentful. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET technologies, cloud-based solutions, and headless CMS platforms. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications that integrate seamlessly with Contentful.

You will need to be self-sufficient, and comfortable navigating an existing code base, getting comfortable with reusing some of the existing styles and senior enough to make additions where necessary.

Project Requirement:

They are looking for a backend engineer to work on a project for one of their existing Clients and make additions to the existing code base for 3 features they have. This will be purely .Net and C#, which will involve work with Contentful (CMS) and Adobe Target.

The 3 new features include new content modelling in Contentful for a new page, amends to existing components and new form component of which that data to be sent via API.

They have an element of Adobe Target work will require some personalisation work for returning users to display a lightbox to with car model based on what they have already looked at.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure .NET applications.

• Integrate Contentful CMS into web applications and ensure seamless data flow.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA

engineers.

• Stay up to date with emerging .NET technologies and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, .NET 6/7).

• Experience with Contentful or other headless CMS platforms.

• Strong understanding of API development and integration.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Proficiency in SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.

• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.

• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Duration: 60 day contract

Location: Fully remote

Rate: Depending on experience
