Adecco Professional is currently looking for an organized and proactive Associate Project Manager to join our client on a full-time, temporary assignment downtown Toronto, ON (hybrid work arrangement). In this interim 6-month or so role, you will assist the client by coordinating tasks, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience in project coordination or administration. Some of the responsibilities of the Associate Project Manager job opening in Toronto, ON may include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the client with a large relocation project on-site in Toronto (subway accessible)
  • Ensure that the project is keeping to agreed service delivery standards and compliance
  • Maintain the project control plan and track the budget
  • Research and interactions with various departments to gather pertinent information
  • Create various reports and presentations; may include presenting at update meetings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and issue project communications
  • Attend meetings and take notes, update documents, timeline tracking etc.
  • Assist in scheduling and maintaining the schedules
  • Conduct surveys, inventory audits
  • Be the main point person on-site for internal/external parties
  • Maintain the project filing system
  • General administration with SharePoint, timesheet tracking, expenses and more
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties as required as well as work some weekends as needed.


Some of the qualifications of the Associate Project Manager job opening in Toronto, ON include but are not limited to:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a full-scope Project Manager capacity with strong administrative skills
  • Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook all required)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; honed and professional interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow up/follow through skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Problem solver, creative and strong critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional work ethic, self-motivated, takes initiative and highly driven
  • Poised, polished and professional


This hybrid working position will have you supporting the client on a busy, integral project and liaising with internal and external stakeholders daily. The site is walkable from the GO and also TTC accessible and you will be working 3 days/week on-site; flexibility for some weekend support is required (balanced to still have days off of course). Although for an initial project, there is potential for this to extend or more pending the performance and timing/opportunity as well.
