Ocho are delighted to be partnering exclusively with this client to hire a Mid or Senior level iOS / Swift Ui developer

Ocho is partnered with an innovative MedTech company in Belfast, developing cutting-edge technologies that are transforming lives globally . They are looking for an iOS Engineer to join their software team, reporting directly to the CTO. In this role, you'll take ownership of iOS app development for medical products, delivering high-impact solutions that reach a global audience.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead the development of iOS applications.
Contribute to the architecture and design of software systems.
Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.
Ensure best coding practices and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Assist in planning and scoping product releases.

What You'll Need:

Essential:

3+ years of professional experience, including 1 + years in iOS development.
Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
Experience with GIT or other version control systems.
Knowledge of unit testing and TDD.
Passion for technology and software development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) development.
Familiarity with Cloud APIs and backend integration.
Exposure to Android or Django API development.
Prior experience in a regulated environment (e.g., medical, automotive).
Knowledge of JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS/Heroku.
Experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store.
