Front-End React Developer (Customer Portal - Medical Retail) – Freelance

For a customer based in Antwerp in the medical retail sector, I am looking for a Freelance Front-End React Developer (Medior/Senior) to join their team and help build a customer portal aimed at improving the process of delivering tailored medication to pensioners.

You will be working in a small to medium-sized company, contributing to the development of a platform that will improve customer experience and streamline business operations. The portal will cover from order to administration.

This is a freelance position with the flexibility to work 1-2 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the front-end of the customer portal using React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to create a seamless UX/UI experience for users.
• Integrate front-end functionality with back-end systems in collaboration with backend developers.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and accessibility issues.

Profile:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
• Strong proficiency in React; experience with Next.js is highly desirable.
• Experience with UX/UI design principles.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Dutch is preferred.
