Job Description

We are looking for a Blockchain Engineer to manage and optimize blockchain infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

  • You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining blockchain nodes, handling network upgrades, and optimizing performance.
  • Your role will involve troubleshooting infrastructure issues, integrating blockchain systems with existing tools, and implementing best DevOps practices for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain blockchain nodes (Ethereum or similar) in a production environment.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and stability of blockchain infrastructure.
  • Handle network forks (hard and soft) with risk mitigation strategies.
  • Deploy and manage network upgrades, protocol changes, and release processes with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and optimize blockchain node performance for stability and efficiency.
  • Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate and manage containerized blockchain nodes and related services.
  • Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to integrate blockchain infrastructure with existing tools and systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve network latency, synchronization, and performance issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure processes, configurations, and incident management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience managing and maintaining blockchain infrastructure (Ethereum or similar).
  • Kubernetes
  • blockchain network upgrades, protocol changes.
  • DevOps practices, network security, and high-availability architectures.
  • monitoring and logging tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for blockchain infrastructure.
  • infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) for automation.
  • smart contracts and blockchain consensus mechanisms.
