Junior Software Developer, Backend - Sectra Medical

Working as a software engineer

Our software engineers enable Sectra to deliver products and services to our customers by designing, programming, testing, maintaining and evaluation software solutions. In short, they ensure that we can deliver products with the right features, which solve the right problems for our end-users. We want our solutions to be perceived as easy-to-use, future-proof and effective and pride ourselves in truly understanding our customers environment.

Our development teams are organized into agile, self-organized group with a shared passion for technology who together are responsible for both the design, implementation, and quality of our products. Your main responsibilities will most likely include:

• Get to learn to use Visual Studio, GIT and JIRA to manage code and keep track of what to do
• Become highly skilled using C# and sometimes C++
• Help us to adapt our solutions for cloud-native environments, primarily Microsoft Azure
• Learn how to manage and build SQL databases, and validate their stability and efficiency
• Learn how to make sure APIs between backend and frontend are well designed and well implemented
• Have fun with other bright colleagues

• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written

• Have experience of software development in agile technologies
• Speak more languages than those required above
• Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding singing or flying for example
