Job Title: Java Developer (Microservices & Kubernetes)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Microservices architecture and Kubernetes to join our dynamic team in Warsaw on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern Java development practices, containerization, and cloud-native solutions. You will work on designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications within a distributed systems environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize application performance and scalability within a cloud-native environment.
• Work closely with DevOps engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure best coding practices, security, and compliance standards are followed.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8/11/17).
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Polish is a plus).
