Senior Instrument Engineer - Discipline Task Responsible

We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.

Created in 2017, Erithy has grown into a consultancy team made up of various profiles from Europe, South America and the Middle East, working on projects across Norway.

We are now looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer - Discipline Task Responsible for one of our customers based in Trondheim.

Responsibilities

  • Gain detailed knowledge of your assigned scope of work
  • Provide discipline input to complete the design basis during start-up
  • Coordinate work with additional team members from your discipline
  • Ensure team members understand the scope of work
  • Maintain clear interfaces with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Establish and maintain the activity schedule for your discipline
  • Perform estimation and planning activities
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines and follow up on clarifications
  • Manage the discipline material budget (MTO), if relevant
  • Maintain the document development schedule for your discipline
  • Implement approved changes into the schedule

Requirements

  • Higher education degree in relevant field
  • Extensive experience of instrumentation engineering
  • Working knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations, and standards, including NORSOK and relevant standards/regulations for NCS
  • Leadership qualities and previous experience mentoring more junior engineers
  • Proficiency in project-specific software, including Microsoft, Procosys, MIPS, and STID
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
